Yes! They sort of just grind it down and make it smaller around, not shorter, and then put the new crown on. They numb you up real good first though. I have 3 of them. :)
YES BUT!!! the root has to be big and healthy enough
they file down the tooth and place the crown over it then,you will take impressions then the real one will come on
