OK so i'm on a 91 day birth control set and 2 weeks ago was the period in it. It ended this last sunday, but my stupid script ran out and Walgreen's got the wrong prescription when it did come in. So i haven't had any pills since sunday (i had 2 left) and then last night another period started. My pills are ready today so what should i do?
what you are having right now is a withdrawal bleed from a decrease in hormones from not taking your pills. you should get a new pack and resume taking them asap. because you missed several in a row remember to use a back up method for 10 days (condoms). some bleeding mid cycle can happen with an extended use oral contraceptive.
If you did have unprotected sex with in the last 5 days and had not taken a active (not placebo) pill each day, you should consider taking a plan B.
Call your pharmacist ; he would tell you what to do
